I have to admit that I finally got tired of waiting for the author to create real people. His heroes are entirely too perfect and his villains too villainous. They're plastic. All the Archons are too noble and nobody broken ranks too work with a government body. They all give up everything in order to serve the greater good yet nobody even tells anyone that they're serving the greater good.

This writer is new to me but, is very good at writing Sci-Fi. I have read 18 of the books in this
series and they are all very entertaining. The only con I have is that each book is small, I think
somewhere in the 80 to 150 page range (give or take) so, they don't take a lot of time to read and at $3.00
each they are a little more expensive than most of us are use to. The writer has stated that he is
expecting to write 100 of the Star Force books so in the long run it's going to add up.
You be the judge, personally I'm hooked and will more than likely buy the whole series. Enjoy!
I was having a rough time until book #9, past that its getting better however the War is starting to drag on and becoming a bit monotonous.

I'm burning through these short stories every few days, if I didn't have unlimited i would be pretty upset about the cost per book.

If you like military SF, this one is on the same level of all the best; probably better for the plot and leading characters keep evolving, keeping you hooked up. I've read all the books in little less than 4 weeks. Just finished Apex. Simply the best series i've read in the last 5 years. The author is most probably on fire by the speed the books are released. Almost one a month. Those series that take years to write drag on the readers.
