My family loves this series. We are reading it together. I originally bought it for my 9 year old son. I am reading it out loud to him. My 15 year old daughter was listening, and now I'm reading to the entire audience.

The book keeps you on the edge of your seat. The characters are relate able and loveable. My son & the character Evan are almost twins.
My 8-year-old son LOVES this series. Hedoes live to read anyways, but once he gets started on these books, he can't put them down. He has even read the first 2 books in the series twice. He's getting the third book for Easter.

I am actually reading the first one right now. I've read that it ultimately references the armor of God so I'm reading it so I can open up the conversation with my son about this.
After realizing I need to heavily monitor what books my boy reads (having to "pull" some series from him, sadly, due to too-mature themes!) I was SO thrilled to see this series written for his age. There's no shortage of wholesome but well-written books for girls of all ages but boys is ... lacking. He devours these. Thank you Priscilla and team for making this series happen! And the app and devos too! I hope more authors follow!
I read through this book in like 3 days. It is awesome and I love the meaning in the book for my grandson who is thinking about going to Church.
Side Note I read all the books that I give to my kids at Church and/or my grandchildren just to make sure...I don't want to give the younger ones anything scary or not appropriate.
This series is awesome for families with young boys. We have thoroughly enjoyed reading the first book and this one is even more engaging for all of us. We share family time reading aloud and getting lost in the story!
I first became familiar with Priscilla Shirer at church through one of her bible studies, but quickly realized she was also a part of the movie The War Room, which I loved. I have done several of her bible studies since. I heard an advertisement on a Christian podcast I listen to for her books for young boys (I'm sure girls will love them, too). I knew they'd be perfect for my bookworms because she's a mom of 3 boys and I have 2. I was right! I purchased the first 2 of the books for Christmas and then the 3rd book as soon as it came out. My oldest loves the books and soon my youngest one will too! The best part, the first book in the series is in the Accelerated Reader system and we're looking forward to the other 2 to be in the system as well.
Priscilla Shirer Does it Again! My boys and I absolutely love this series. My boys, 8 and 6, read this book in as little as a day and a half. It's full of adventure, teachable moments, biblical principles and life application. We are all VERY excited to read the third book. We will pre-order for sure D
